About the Agency
Just an 8-minute walk from Hakata Station, a room inside a 40-year-old apartment building—Genest Hakata-East.
This is the "Kamiya Detective Agency," run by detective Kengo Kamiya and his assistant Hikaru Omuta.
A few months after opening, the first request arrived at their quiet office.
It was the mysterious disappearance of a high school girl.
Real photos of Fukuoka and AI-generated graphics express a highly realistic world.
Players will challenge the mystery from the perspective of Detective Kamiya.
You must spot the contradictions hidden behind testimonies and rumors.
Layer your reasoning from fragmented information to uncover the absolute truth.
During the early stages of development, the protagonist's surname "Kamiya" was originally going to be written with the typical kanji characters "神谷". However, since the game is set in Fukuoka, we decided to change it to "神屋" in honor of Kamiya Sotan (神屋宗湛), one of the three great merchants of Hakata during the Sengoku period.
This naming reflects the developer's subtle respect and dedication to Hakata's rich history.
By the way, Kamiya Sotan has absolutely zero relation to the mystery of the missing high school girl.
* Note: In Japanese, our agency and protagonist's name are easily misspelled with homophonic kanji like "神谷探偵事務所", "神谷憲悟", or "神屋憲吾". The correct kanji characters are "神屋探偵事務所" (Kamiya Detective Agency) and "神屋憲悟" (Kengo Kamiya), capturing the historic merchant heritage of Hakata.
