Hello everyone, this is Haru Minamo from Sakura ARC.
I’m writing to share a quick survival report and some exciting progress regarding the preparation of our upcoming mystery adventure game, 'Kamiya Detective Agency: High School Girl Vanished in The Summer.'
1. Steam Coming Soon Page Passes Platform Review
We have successfully passed the platform's review process to establish our Steam store page (Coming Soon).
With this hurdle cleared, we are finally ready to open the overview page to players worldwide. We are currently polishing the final texts and graphical assets behind the scenes to prepare for the store page's public launch in the coming days.
2. Introducing the Official Website and Trailer
We have already launched the official website and released our official trailer (supporting subtitles in 17 languages).
Get a sneak peek at the unique atmosphere of Fukuoka in the summer of 2025, brought to life through a blend of real-world photography and AI-assisted imagery.
3. Localization Plans: Supporting 18 Languages (Including Kyushu Dialect)
To make the game accessible to as many regions as possible, we are aiming high for an indie title by planning localizations in 18 languages.
To capture the authentic local flavor of our setting, Hakata, we are including the local "Kyushu Dialect," alongside plans to roll out support for the following languages:
**【Planned Languages、E*
Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Thai, Arabic, Portuguese (Brazilian), French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Indonesian, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Kyushu Dialect
4. Blog Refinement and 3-Language (JA/EN/ZH) Support
To broadcast updates simultaneously to both domestic and international audiences, we have upgraded this NEWS & LOGS system.
- 3-Language Support (JA/EN/ZH): We have built a system to simultaneously write, compile, and browse future posts in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese.
- Under-the-Hood Optimizations: To ensure search engine crawlers can accurately index our articles, we have cleaned up internal schemas (such as automatically injecting the `articleBody` property).
Additionally, in hopes of having our posts treated as actual news, we registered with Google Publisher Center and received a notification that we’ve been approved for the 'Reader Revenue Manager' as well—though we aren't quite sure what we'll do with it yet.
While the actual game development is still in its early stages, we plan to publish the Steam store page first. Using your wishlist additions as our motivation, we intend to keep pushing forward at our own pace.
We will announce the public launch of the store page via a press release, so please stay tuned!
